Gintionary

The No. 209 Gin Dictionary (a.k.a. The Gintionary) evolves based upon what our wonderful supporters would like to better understand. If there is a term on the website that you do not understand, there are likely others that feel the same way. We have a tendency to be ginky (see reference below- see…we’re testing this now), and would love to explain everything, so please contact us if you would like us to define something new!

Ginthusiast™:

A sage in the gin world - “I love gin!” (The Gin Enthusiast)

Ginlightened™:

A new convert to the gin team - “I just started drinking gin.” (The Gin Enlightened)

Ginskeptic™:

Someone that hasn’t tried gin in awhile- “Oh, I don’t drink gin. I had a bad experience.” (The Gin Skeptic)

Ginnocent™:

A gin virgin if you will - “I’m a vodka drinker. Gin tastes like a Christmas tree.” (The Gin Innocent)

Ginterest™:

Rating of affection for gin.

Ginky:

One that tends to be geeky about gin. Gin+geeky = ginky
